"Fabulous location for the city centre, however if you want somewhere quiet you’d be disappointed, we had the window open because of the heat but you can hear all the neighbouring bars and the clocks chime every 15 minutes. Thankfully the chimes do stop around 10pm until morning so doesn’t disturb sleep. Windows sufficiently block noise. The hotel is very basic as expected. Clean but not spotless. Comfortable enough beds but need some firmer pillows! "

"Only stayed one night so not long enough for a proper opinion. Everything ok with hotel itself but surroundings ( supermarket, McDonald's, back of a pub ,factory) a bit "industrial ". Only issue was with key card which refused to work because apparently it had been wiped by the security scanner in the supermarket. Good access to motorway. "

"Conveniently placed with friendly/helpful staff. Rooms functional if a little tired. Situated between two busy roads so can be a little noisy. Small EV charging bays but easy to use "

"The guys at reception gave a warm welcome and helped with the bags to our room. Room was basically fine however the kettle could have done with a better clean. Decoration of the room was a little tired, but probably fine for most guys. The full English Breakfast was very good, well cooked and quality produce. My wife is gluten free, so had no alternatives such as porridge. Made do with some bacon and egg. The evening meal was also very good, but with a busy restaurant, service was a little slow....

"The station hotel bar areas where really nice up to date, clean and nice decor, outside area, near for when the weather is good, also do food, staff are really welcoming, polite and genuine, rooms are are large, tv w/c, could do with an update in decor id say, maybe en-suits in all rooms. But good rooms to stay over whilst working away and such. Found the kingsize bed very comfy, i would definitely stay again, good prices to."

"Hotel is the top floors of an older hotel or inn so the entrance is a narrow staircase between a Starbucks and small Tesco. However, once you're upstairs the main dinning room/ bar/ reception is cozy and old fashioned. Check in was quick/easy, and our room (#9) was typical of this type of hotel. An old room with fireplace, converted to include a small internal bathroom w/ shower. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet despite it overlooking railway station and pedestrian precinct. Only odd...

"Bed was great for sex I absolutely smashed my girlfriend all over the room but sadly when I was having a shower, the handle fell off and also the door nob to the hallway/room was already broken off. The radiator was on some weird timer. (Couldn’t find the thermostat) microwave and kettle were sound and also the plates and cutlery were also clean. There was also one corner piece of rubbish which wasn’t mine. "
