Second visit to Santhiya. This time we bought the kids who loved it!! Unfortunately shorter stay this time, 5 days instead of 10 as we wanted to spend a few days in Samui to get some dental work done, which was a shame, being so brief.
We love everything about the resort. The staff are attentive, super friendly yet professional. The facilities are brilliant and the atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable.
Our kids had so much fun.

We only stayed here for 2 nights so didn't get to experience this hotel for every thing that it had to offer. However, the pool was amazing with lounge chairs and a fantastic view of the ocean. It was right next to the restaurant which had good food and also amazing views. The prices are a bit high compared to what you would get from one of the restaurants on the street though.
We stayed in a Love Jacuzzi Room and the king size bed and pillows were the most comfortable we slept on for our 3 weeks travelling in Thailand. We had a jacuzzi on our balcony and although our balcony could be viewed from the pool area and anyone walking up the hill from reception, curtains were provided for privacy. All staff were wonderful and always friendly.
One of my favourite things about this hotel is the little personal touches. We found a note in our room on our last day thanking us for staying with them and a candle to take home with us.
I only wished we could have stayed here longer and look forward to visiting again!
Everything was amazing. Staff are very attentive by pool bringing water and fruit. Two pools to choose from and even though the resort was fully booked when were there it didn't seem crowded at all. Always a lounger by the pool available. Cocktail of the day was priced well at 150bhat. Breakfast is made to order as well as the buffet. Would love to stay here again. Only thing to note is that bed are pretty hard.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Stayed in the hillside section which has its own pool and restaurant. The beach-side section also has its own pool and restaurant with beautiful views of the beach and sea. The additional cost of living beach-side is not worth the extra expense. The hill-side rooms are excellent; good size rooms and a very large bathroom. The balcony is spacious and provided glimpses of the sea and pool.
The reception staff were very helpful and promptly dealt with any request. The housekeeping girls were very friendly and did everything with a smile. The buffet breakfast was very good and would satisfy most people except for the whinging brigade that are never happy.
The hotel is located about a fifteen minute walk to the main Chaweng Beach area. Baht buses are frequent but in the daytime a pleasant walk along the beach is very enjoyable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again
"Luxury villa with great views and friendly staff"
Loved our stay at the villa! Staff and facilities were excellent. Views were amazing. Food and drink were reasonable price and great tasting. The actual villa had a good sized private pool and great size of rooms. This place made the holiday fantastic!
We are a family of 4 with 2 young boys and spent 3 weeks at ShaSa resort. It is a beautiful resort at the southern tip of the island. The accommodation is great with ample room and great facilities. It has an excellent restaurant and brilliant staff that are always happy to help. We hired a car at the airport and this made life much easier to get around as the location is somewhat secluded. I would highly recommend ShaSa.
We (2 couples) stayed at this property from 3 Oct to 11 Oct 2014. This hotel met all our criteria - great rooms, right on the beach, infinity type pool and located next to the main market place. Both of our rooms were big, had electronic controls, 42 inch plasma, bathroom with Jacuzzi and great comfy bed that was serviced by great staff. Both front desk girls (Tai & Oun) were very helpful and the travel agent (Gam) was fantastic. I even like to recommend the concierge (both Chan & Toto) for recommending places to visit (do's n don'ts), giving us updates on the weather etc. One tip for fellow travelers - hire the motorbike/scooters from the hotel as they won't keep your passport as a bond.
the hotel is surrounded by a tropical scene could not get a better location quiet peaceful not to far in a taxi to get in the hussel and bussel of thing like lamai or chewang .only a 10 minute stroll to the beach the whole side of that part of the holiday was like being in paradise I well recommend it to anyone with familys or couples .the hotel staff was 5* accommodating polite and very helpful there was no language barrier between us .weel reccommend

The front desk staff is helpful but minimal English and knowledge of the excursions on the island other than to give you a brochure
The hotel is very nice and the location is probably the best in chaweng
200 baht a day mopeds out front were awesome

Wouldn't stay anywhere else in koh samui
After a week it felt like home
No room service and limited reception hours - closes at 11 only drawbacks but food options / restaurants around here are amazing
