Our return was not so good because there was a change of restaurant staff with dropped standards The previous staff were always cheerful and had enough English (serving all nationalities) to make eating there very pleasant. "It was a basic studio and was clean. Air con was good. Pool closes for 3 hours 2-5pm. Food in restaurant is very good and reasonable priced but for all the staff they have (5) service is terrible. I had to go bar and order in end as got sick of waiting even though it wasn’t busy. When we received meal i had to get up and ask for cutlery. No entertainment on night we stayed"

" This has been our 3rd stay at the hotel Lido. Personally my partner and myself Love it there for its convenience to the beach, restaurants and shops ect.. However it should be stressed to new visitors that the Lido like most hotels in the area is a 2 star hotel so don't expect 4 star decor also people new to the area should appreciate this is a working coastal town so don't expect the canary island experience. In saying this for those looking for a Spanish experience and a Lovely beach holiday...

Access to wifi was a real problem for me and needing to sit in reception to do my work was very inconvenient. Furniture in rooms very uncomfortable.. "Net, schoon, eenvoudig hotel. Recent gerenoveerd, nieuwe inrichting op de kamer. Beneden kun je ontbijten, typisch Spaans gebeuren. Cartagena is 10 minuutjes rijden, de plaats zelf heet La Palma (voer La Palma in in je navi). Pizzaria - Donnerzaak in het straatje zelf. Vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel in het hotel. Bij mooi weer kun je lekker zitten op het binnenpplaatsje. Auto kun je prima parkeren in de straat zelf."

"Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room very comfortable, plenty of room if 4 sleeping. The only problem is that there appeared to be come maintenance required to upkeep the hotel/apartment block, broken paving stones, etc., possible trip hazard. But overall good value for money."
