"Stayed in 2 different rooms, both had mold. With 2 elevators we still had long wait times get on to get to our room. The sinks drains worked slow. Overall rooms look nice and sheets were clean. Havaianas for every guest was included in each room which was a nice touch. Very much needed for the showers since that’s where mold was. Overall was a good stay aside from the mold and random smell of dirty water (the 1st room)."

Ipanema

Ipanema captures the essence of Rio's carefree spirit along its golden shoreline. Bronzed locals play volleyball as waves crash against Arpoador Rock. Less touristy than neighbouring Ipanema, Leblon offers premium experiences with easy metro access. Travellers appreciate its pristine shoreline and refined atmosphere.

Santa Teresa

Santa Teresa crowns Rio's hills with artistic spirit and historic charm. Colourful colonial mansions now house galleries and studios along winding cobblestone streets. The iconic yellow tram rattles past breathtaking city views that stretch to Sugarloaf Mountain. This bohemian enclave feels worlds away from Rio's beaches. Explore the vibrant mosaic of Selarón Steps or find panoramic vistas at Ruins Park. Christ the Redeemer stands nearby, while Largo do Guimarães buzzes with local cafés and weekend music.

Lapa

Lapa is Rio's legendary nightlife district where the iconic Arcos da Lapa aqueduct stands tall above cobblestone streets. Samba beats pour from colourful colonial buildings as locals and visitors dance until dawn. The vibrant Selarón Steps showcase thousands of artistic tiles from around the world. By day, discover the neighborhood's rich history through well-preserved architecture and cultural sites. Visit Circo Voador for performances or simply wander the streets where impromptu music sessions often break out. Despite limited green space, Lapa captures the authentic spirit of Brazilian culture.
