No Pool! even though the main photo of the listing is of a pool, there is no pool on site, they offer access to a public pool about a mile away. To me, the whole point was to be able to go down for a quick swim with the kids, not have to venture out, find parking and all that hassle. That was very frustrating. Pool aside, the apartment was very nice. Clean and modern. Great view of the sunset over the ocean. If you're looking for a place with a pool, this isn't it. If you don't care about the pool or don't mind a small side trip to use the pool, it's very nice and I would recommend.

Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very good, but we were given a room adjacent to the front entry and it was very noisy with people coming and going and using the front entry area to smoke cigarettes. We had to leave a window partly open to get fresh air which meant we couldn’t keep out the noise. Also we did not get a room upgrade or welcome gift. The breakfast was continental without any hot food.

During my recent stay at the Reykjavik Residence Hotel, I was blown away by the exceptional service from their lovely staff, who truly made us feel right at home.
Even though we arrived quite early, they were kind enough to get us checked in the moment our room was ready, completely free of charge. It was such a relief to rest up a bit before heading out to explore the city! The team also gave us some fantastic recommendations for local activities, and their breakfast was wonderfully simple, fresh, and nutritious.
If you're planning your Iceland adventure, I highly recommend this hotel!

Even though we were on the top floor in the diamond suites the room was extremely small and hard to have two adults and two small kids in. The fancy hot tub bath didn’t work, no bubbles. The room with the toilet was extremely small. Only stayed one night and we were woken up by a man working on the outside hot tub that also seemed to be busted at 7am! An unreasonable time to be banging on things right outside our window. The food was good at the attached restaurant and the place was charming overall. They could lay off the fake fragrance diffusers as they were all over the place and overpowering.

My husband stated this was the best hotel he’s ever stayed it! Views are spectacular, breakfast every morning was amazing, bed was very comfortable, shower was great, and the storage was plentiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue is it was hard to find the entrance on a Sunday evening since the hotel is just the top floor of an office building and the sign is very small. We called and the staff greeted us in the parking lot to help us. Great experience, would highly recommend!
