Always a fantastic stay at the Fifty. All the team are always very welcoming thought out you’re stay. The rooms are clean and spacious great location for shopping and restaurants. Always our number 1 hotel in New York.

We waited 2 days and moved 2 rooms before getting our actual room. For that reason the manager upgraded us for the remainder of the week to a 4 bedroom, Oceanfront suite. The property is awesome, but the pool closing at 5:00 is annoying and then closing even earlier for private events is even more annoying. Request a room on the North side of the property to avoid early morning car honking and construction beeps at 7:00 am every day.

If you’re looking to stay in the Times Square area, this hotel is an excellent choice. Our room was spotless and surprisingly spacious for a New York City property. The common areas were beautifully maintained, and the rooftop restaurant was a wonderful bonus with a great atmosphere. We also really appreciated the complimentary morning coffee and evening wine — such a thoughtful touch. The staff was consistently pleasant, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be in the heart of New York City.

Staff was friendly and helpful every time we spoke with them and asked questions. The room and bathroom were very clean. They have small game room with a foosball and ping pong table on the first floor. On the sub-level floor, there’s a small bar and lounge where you can order breakfast and dinner from. The freshly squeezed orange juice was the highlight of my breakfast, I had two glasses of it. I ordered the bacon, egg, cheese biscuit breakfast sandwich and coffee, they weren’t great. They don’t use real eggs. Order something else or walk around the corner and find a cafe or deli. The snack bar was limited, peanut m&ms, m&ms, KitKat, Reese’s butter cups, Pringle’s, few other options of chips, and sodas. Coffee is also option in the snack bar, but it’s hotel coffee, they had no creamer options when I checked to mask the taste. Location is in a great spot if you’re planning to see an event at the Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center. This hotel faces the back of that building. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance. Within 5-10 minutes you can walk to a great pizzeria called Vito’s, few Asian restaurants, Cafe, and across the street from the Manhattan Center there’s a Jimmy John’s, Dunkin, Five Guys, and Chipotle. There’s also an AMC movie theater if you’re up for a movie. There are tons of gift shops in every direction. It took me about 15-20 minutes to walk from the hotel to Macy’s on 34th Street and about the same time to stop at a nearby Target. Great hotel!
