The room was very clean and comfortable friendly staff and good food

Slow-paced, old world vibe. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Excellent beach and beach facilities. A few glitches with the food, but I appreciate that it is made from scratch and doesn't feel like it came off a conveyor belt from a large all-inclusive kitchen. If you want rest and relaxation, this is the spot.

The only concern I had was failure to follow the allergy list for meals.

Property staff was exceptional. Free transfer to and from airport excellent benefit. The cons they run out of towels all the time and they were no more than 50 guests. No excuses. Only two restaurants and one bar. One was a buffet which was adequate at best. The other the grill which was the best option. The best this property offers is Nanny service free to guests for their children.

The resort is intimate, easy to find restrooms, restaurants, lobby. We stayed the week of 8/8 through 8/16, low occupancy. There was plenty of space on this beautiful beach to set up your personal heaven. We have been to many resorts; this is where Couples seperates themselves, the key bracelet, no door key card they you have to keep track of!! No dumb towel card, that you have to turn in to get fresh towels and at checkout time. No towel drama at all, grab and leave your towels, go get fresh ones, excellent. We upgraded to a suite, my god, the best room we have had in 20 years of travel. We would always get a standard room and save money. This room was worth the budget buster, pure pleasure. Staff, very attentive to everything you need and the people of Jamaica aways show respect and love even through the hardest of times. Front desk excellent efficiency, check in was a breeze. The food was very good. There are always some food items that miss the mark, for the most part very good. food temperature, excellent, texture and taste were on point. Now that I am home, have to catch up with all those others who have mastered the year after year repeat stays at Couples Negril!!

The check in process was very lengthy Room was not ready until 3 hours after check in Property in general was very good Encountered a very rude staff member at Pier 8 restaurant, which is very out of character for this resort as the staff of is always so kind and polite.
