Yucatan Peninsula Yoga Holidays

We stayed in August 2024 for my birthday. This was our 5th or 6th trip and unfortunately we will probably not return. Resort has stopped focusing on couples and has starting promoting large groups to book rooms. The resort isn't set up for this. Dining is delayed, staff is stressed (not enough of them to serve large groups plus other guests), more buffets than before, loud groups partying until late into the night/morning takes away from the chill, relaxing, quiet vibe the resort used to have. Staff and taxi drivers indicate the new manager (might not still be there 1.5 years later, maybe so) was running the resort into the ground for personal profit. We came here for our honeymoon in 2016 and loved it and went back several times. The last trip was so bad and noisy we were ready to leave early since the other people in our building thought nothing of blaring their music and talking on the phone until 3 and 4am in the common areas between rooms. The way the buildings are set up in this resort you walk into a common area and all the rooms in the building come off the common area. The problem is the rooms are very insulated between the rooms but not around the doors. Also because of the large open ceilings, stuff in the common areas echo. As the group was very large (probably 30 plus adults), our concerns were pretty much dismissed since they had rented out about 1/3 of the resort. The wait staff and kitchen staff and bar staff did the best they could.

Me and my boyfriends first time in Mexico , Cancun and it was amazing the resort was veryyyyy clean ! Couldn’t believe it the food was mid some nights was good the only thing was there was never any reservations available for the other restaurants on the resort. There was always something to do the bartenders amazing Jose, Abram I believe , and the 2 young ladies at the front desk the day I checked in amazing the weather was amazing but overall definitely recommended !!!

First time to visit this resort. Will be back. Excellent food and choices Very clean and beautiful property My wife does not like to visit a location twice but want to bring friends back next time we go I was looking at dates at the airport heading home

Beautiful resort with a wonderful staff. Breakfast buffet is excellent. No dinner buffet which, for me, was a negative. The best restaurant, by far, was MB. Wound up eating there 3 of 5 nights. Varenna, the Italian restaurant, was a strong second, but was closed on Friday night, which was disappointing. Not included in the all-inclusive plan was Carnivore, a steak house. It was expensive and a huge disappointment. Stick to the all-inclusive restaurants. I chose this property primarily due to its 9.2 rating here. I would rate it a bit lower and place it in the “Very Good” category. Another minor negative was the pressure at check-in to upgrade and join their Club. I just found it confusing and stuck with my oceanfront room with a very private deck.
