(1,003 reviews) There were a few teething problems at the start of this stay. The Salinda pickup at the airport wasn’t ideal as I was waiting over 20 mins for other guests to arrive, after a long flight I just wanted to get there! So in the end I got a Grab and made myself to the resort. Not a great start. The welcome when I arrived was OK, free juices and a cold towel. The room was beautiful and the premium sea view room certainly lived up to the name. Housekeeping staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet is nice, a little more variety would be good. The staff at breakfast were efficient and professional. Although the uniforms that the women wore were something out of the handmaids tale, and they all wore crocs!! Someone needs to rethink this! The hotel itself is showing signs of aging and could do with a refresh. Carpets stained and frayed, not exactly 5 star. The cyan pool beach bar - the food was not good nor was it Vietnamese in anyway. Which was disappointing. The pool is large and salt water is great, however there was no real service to get a drink, there is a flag to raise when you want service but no one comes. On several occasions I had to go to the bar to order and the wait staff were just standing around talking ignoring the guests. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but not a 5 star resort in my opinion.
