We did not have time to use the hot tub unfortunately and we did not look for shops nearby but we had no need anyway.

Lovely place to stay with great amenities and great breakfast, easy walking distance to centre and quayside, very polite professional staff.

We were initially given a room key for a room with guests already in the room. The rooms felt very clinical, we felt like we were in a hospital room. The food wasn’t great, not very fresh or hot. The cooked items seemed like they had been leftover from the day before and not cooked that morning. We have stayed at other Melia hotels and they were much nicer, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Comfortable bed, quiet room despite proximity to train station and clubs. Squeaky floors near high-traffic areas might be annoying if your room is nearby, and breakfast doesnt include barista coffee.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, we will definitely be returning.
