Alad Island Yoga Holidays

This unit was advertised as a beachfront Luxury Apartment —— we followed the directions but found it difficult to find the unit because it was NOT beachfront. The unit is on the 3rd floor of a very old, worn down building that is not well maintained. There is a keypad to obtain the keycard to enter the unit. The unit has 1 bedroom with a king bed, another bedroom with a bunk bed with twin beds and very thin mattresses with questionable bed sheets and no proper blanket/comforter, and a futon sofa in the living room area but there is no other sofa, no coffee table or side tables. The kitchen also doesn't have a proper stove, there is a camper size propane electric stove. The kitchen lacks complete set of utensils, it also lacks complete set of plates, salad plates and other basic necessities. There is only ONE bathroom, with a shower with no hot water and very slow slow slow flow of water and absolutely no sign of toiler paper. I kept on searching into the unit, on which part was luxury about it because I could not find any at all. I was very disappointed with the unit, the location (since it was not beachfront), lack of toilet paper and lack of hot water and basic things. We checked out of Hennan Prime and we were so disappointed when we got to this unit. We booked 5 nights and every night the door lock would beep for 10-15 minutes and the keycard wouldn’t work. Some days were very hot and it was so difficult to enter the unit. It also took a long to shower because

We had a great stay at La Carmela. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the beach. Our room is spacious for a family. Kids enjoyed the pool so much. The breakfasts were the best part. So many choices and different food everyday.

Very large resort to earn five stars got to make some improvements. While we enjoyed our stay the rooms need a bit updating and instead of only having buffets have some regular restaurants also. The pools were great, the staff was very friendly, the food choices were minimal. The buffet could use lots of work. Check in and check out was easy.

Staff was awesome especially Kent from the restaurant! It was great that it's wheelchair accessible, so my mom did not have a hard time.
