Flawless Riad experience- clean, quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Riad was easy to find within Medina and walkable to many tourists attractions. We had a delightful time in Marrakech despite the hot weather, largely thanks to this lovely riad we could retreat to (cookies and hot tea provided were a great touch). They even extended our check out time by hours without any fee. Staff was polite, friendly and provided an exceptional experience (special thanks to Zakaria for his wonderful service). Highly recommend this Riad and would definitely stay here again!! Once again, A huge thanks to the staff who made us feel incredibly welcomed!!

Our family of four, including two young children (3yo and 1yo), had a wonderful time at this hotel. The suite room was spacious and comfortable, and the daily cleaning staff refreshed our bedding and towels. The hotel staff throughout the resort was incredibly helpful and great with kids. Cash is easy to exchange at the hotel reception for a reasonable rate (lower than ATM or nearby exchange but convenient) The beach and ocean views were beautiful, and the weather was perfect for enjoying the outdoor pools. While the outdoor pools were unheated, the warm weather made swimming a joy. The indoor heated pool was also great for the kids, especially on overcast days or when we wanted to avoid the sun. The food options were diverse and delicious, but there was a slight issue. The restaurant closed for dinner between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., which was not ideal for our young children who would usually be asleep by 7:30 p.m. The snacks after breakfast and lunch were mostly reheated leftovers, which wasn’t the best. To avoid these issues, we used Glovo to order food and groceries for our kids when it wasn’t available at the resort. The front desk and security staff were incredibly helpful, assisting with taxi drivers and setting up excursions where the taxi driver would wait for us.

I am so glad we chose Dar les Cigognes for our four night stay in Marakech. We loved everything about it. The riad itself is so beautiful; peaceful, restful and cool. The roof terasse is a wonderful place to relax and take coffee and meals. The rooms are very well equipped with lovely big, comfy beds. The locationis perfect, just outside the city walls, with every attraction within easy walking distance. Special mention goes to the staff:Hayst, the Manager, and Hajiba the Concierge are so warm and welcoming and genuinely enjoy making sure that your stay in Marakech is a delightful as possible. They are supremely knowledgable about all thr local attractions and will arrange cars or taxis for any and all necessary transfers or excursions. Our waiter was Abdo and he was soattentive and caring and sweet. Which brings me to the food: it really is the best we found in Marakech - honestly I would recommend esting exclusively at the riad, as the quality and setting is unsurpassed in the city. My wife and I also enjoyed a vigorous and rejuvenating hammam bath, expertly applied by Amina, who was as lovely as all the team in the riad. I have travelled very extensively over decades and can honestly say I have never enjoyed a property and hospitality so much as I have here - if you are planning a stsy in Marakech you MUST stay at Dar les Cigognes.
