We stayed at Roe Valley Resort for a weekend with our 3 and 4-year-old children and overall were very impressed. Our family suite was extremely spacious and gave us plenty of room to relax. While some areas of the hotel are currently undergoing maintenance, the hotel itself is lovely and the grounds are beautiful. The facilities for children were excellent and our girls absolutely loved their stay. The pool was a particular highlight, especially as the shallow area was suitable for our 4-year-old to comfortably stand in. There were lots of activities available for families, which made for a great weekend away. The main disappointment was dining. It seems essential to book restaurants well in advance. We managed to get a late dinner slot on Friday evening after arriving, but were unable to get a table in the hotel on Saturday night. We ended up ordering room service, which arrived more like a takeaway than hotel dining, served in disposable packaging rather than on plates. We were also disappointed that the children's water jet ski activity was completely sold out, and the pool waterslide closed intermittently whenever the lifeguard took breaks. Despite these issues, we had a very enjoyable stay and the children had a fantastic time. With a little more capacity around dining and activities, the experience would have been even better.

Great stay

Myself and cousin had a lovely 4 night stay at the Villa Rose. Staff very friendly and courteous, excellent breakfast. Comfy clean rooms.

The hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking right around the hotel. The room was clean and tidy and there wasn’t too much noise coming from the roads which run right past.

Sam and Pat were absolutely amazing. Their hospitality was unmatched in all the places we stayed on this trip. The breakfast was top tier as they are professional chefs. The property was beyond beautiful, especially their pristine garden which they've poured countless hours into. I highly recommend this place to book and would stay again a thousand times over.

Absolutely everything during our stay at Ashbrook was perfect! From the warm welcome on arrival, to the spotless and beautiful huge room through to the freshly baked bread, pancakes and bacon for breakfast that had us full right through to our evening meal, I literally couldn't fault a thing. Highly recommended and we'll be booking again next time we're in the area.

Lovely experience and staff very friendly and helpful.

Was not as advertised. Mold in the shower, broken cabinet in bathroom, mold on carpet, stains on bed sheets. Just not livable. Had to get a last minute hotel reservation.
