We loved our stay here! We could see monkeys from our balcony (Tropical room type), the included breakfast was great, and the pools were very nice. We did have a lot of stairs to our room without easy access to an elevator so if you are mobility impaired at all you should let them know in advance. The AC was quiet and cold. They have a really nice jungle walking path on property. We also saw sloths, toucans, iguanas, and lots of other creatures. It's about ten minutes walk to Biesanz Beach (bring cash to rent chairs/equipment and get (very good and fresh) food and drink on the beach-not through the hotel). They have a shuttle that takes you to Manuel Antonio National Park so you don't have to worry about parking there. Only negative is that the onsite food is very expensive, even for a resort. We went into Quepos and either went out or got takeout for most meals. I really loved our stay here and would go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful beach and surroundings. Bring some water and drinks/snacks to have in the fridge.

Family with 3 kids aged 11-13 stayed in Tule Casa. I feel the need to write this review because of the endless searching I did before coming (specifically for Tule Casa). Was it loud because of its proximity to the street? Yes. Am I a very light sleeper? Yes. Did I buy sound machines to help with street noise while we slept? Yes. Was I warned in advance? Yes. Was I prepared for how loud it actually was. Nope. Did I wear ear plugs? Yes. Was I bothered by the noise? Absolutely not. I would stay in this house a hundred times over. The benefit outweighs the risk. I was also worried about the outdoor staircase to get from one floor to the other. The children stayed on the lower level and we stayed on the upper level. It’s very secure and the only outdoor critters you see at night are the cute ceiling lizards that freeze when they see you. What you get at this location is an extremely spacious and comfortable home, daily visits from the iguanas who hang out while you eat, crowds of squirrel monkeys in the trees in front of your balcony, an occasional visit from a howler monkey, the most incredible sunsets I’ve ever seen. It is walking distance to the beach, Indian food (across the street, high quality), grocery (with ATM) and surf shops. So many restaurants!!! You are an 8 minute drive from Manuel Antonio national park. This was an amazing hotel with fantastic staff in an unforgettable location.
