From the moment we walked up, we felt so welcome and comfortable. The manager was incredible at arranging all of our experiences from local temples to the elephant safari and an amazing massage. Food and beverage service is personal and accommodating. We loved the plunge pool at our room, especially after the amazing climb to see Sigiriya Rock!
Incredible staff, tranquil property- loved every minute- the peacock even put on a show when we left!

Beautiful property with friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious with options for all visitors. Gym had good equipment and the pool and grounds are lovely. My only suggestion would be to have an iron in all rooms it would have been helpful with my wrinkled dresses.

The photos of this property LOOK okay but in real life, this place is sort of falling apart. You can’t swim in the beach as the water is too dangerous and choppy. The room we stayed in did not have a balcony door that sealed properly, so we had to switch rooms. The eating/ lounge area was very bare bones. For me, the stay would have been all right, had they not used photos likely from when this hotel first opened, when it was in tip top condition. We had a hot tub that we didn’t even feel like using, being the sealant looked cracked and gross and it just didn’t appear as clean as it did in the photos the hotel has shared with Expedia. We would never ever stay here again.
