Stunning hotel with amazing pool and jacuzzi area and fabulous outdoor space for sunbathing.Shuttle service to nearby Hensol castle for gin distillery tour/afternoon tea. If you prebook dinner option, you will get 3course menu, otherwise it’s only ala carte on the day. Breakfast is excellent and weather permitting you can sit outside on the terrace with the view of the golf course.The only downside is, that it is in the middle of nowhere and you can eat only in the 1 restaurant as there’s nothing else nearby.

The Holland Hotel in Cardiff is a lovely hotel. The facilities were great. We used the swimming pool and spa which was very relaxing. Our room had the most amazing view and you could see Cardiff Bay and we were able to check in early as we arrived around 12.30. Our only gripe was that upon finding stained bedding we asked reception if we could have the quilt cover changed. We returned to our room after an evening out and that hadnt been done. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.

Nice little apartment to stay at, the only thing that let it down was how incredibly hot it was. There was a fan provided but it generally blew hot air back. I would come back but probably just in the winter.

The staff were brilliant especially one of the Receptionists who phoned me to say I had left my card there andthey were keeping it for me. She was incredible. Thank you to her and the staff who made our stay so absolutely great. The views from the balcony over the bay were superb and the breakfast was defintely one of the best that my sister in law and I have ever experienced. So much choice and quality and wonderful staff. Thank you all. Will always remember our experience. We will be back, definitely.
