Northern Stockholm County Waterpark Holidays

We had a late checkin and the hotel told us to inform the late arrival for key collection procedures as no one will be at the front desk. We informed them of late arrival. After 4 phone calls and 3 mail, no procedure for late arrival. Each time we called they said they will provide the instruction in the next few hours. No reply to the mail. They just spoiled our day of check in keeping us in very uncertain state.

We stayed for 5 nights for a small holiday in Stockholm. On arrival it was a really nice location by the water and adjoined to on of Stockholm's many national parks. The hotel felt smart and sleek. You were well looked after by staff if you needed anything. We were English speaking and that wasn't an issue. Breakfast was well thought out. A good selection of hot and cold options, bread station, coffee, juice and pastries. The only issues we had were we were travelling as three with our young daughter. We had to ask each day for towels for the room as it was made up for two each time. We also after booking were told there was on additional cost of roughly £30 per night for a bed for my daughter to have her own bed set in the room. That may not have been the properties fault and the issue might of lied with hotels.com. we did search as a family of three and everywhere we've stayed in the past you would always have a separate bed for your child to sleep inclusive in your booking price. We did make this clear to the hotel but this was their policy and additional charge for a bed for your child. I think having known that beforehand we would have chosen somewhere else to stay as to us it's a hidden upsell cost that's unfair and unclear to the guest. Again this issue could lie with hotels.com or the hotel depending on how they advertise it to potential customers. We did have a lovely stay and holiday though. And located nicely out of the bustle of the city.

One of the best hotels I’ve visited. We won’t hesitate to stay here again next time we’re in Stockholm. Also, was blown away by the quality of the food when we ordered room service.

The location of the hotel is amazing, overlooking the river. Easy to walk into the city centre and other parts. Tram and buses near by. All the staff were amazing, and could not do enough for you. At breakfast Emma always looked after me, she was helpful and made time to chat. A pleasure meeting her. Mario was great, he helped will me with recommendations and places to see. It felt like family. My next to Stockholm I will be staying here.

The location is excellent, with easy access to local amenities, restaurants, shops, and transport links, making it a great base for exploring the area. During my visit, the weather was exceptionally warm, and unfortunately there were no air conditioning controls in the room. As only one window could be opened, the room became quite hot and uncomfortable at times. Opening the window helped, but it also exposed the room to a significant amount of noise from outside, particularly during the night. Despite these issues, the hotel's great location and friendly staff made for an enjoyable stay. If room temperature and noise control were improved, it would make a noticeable difference to the overall guest experience.
