I loved the proximity of this property to the local attractions, dining, and grocery.

This is a great hotel if you are going to Universal Studios Park, one entrance is right on the Universal City Walk and the subway and Starbucks. You can take the subway or get a taxi into downtown Osaka, about 20-30 minutes.

Great hotel. Large rooms that are very clean. Very good staff. Would recommend for families with children. One improvement - TV has no channels in English. They need to add a few.

Castle view room was amazing. Beautiful hotel with great shops. Very courteous staff. Very clean and we enjoyed the location.

Our room had unbeatable views of the city, and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The bar, however, was a little overpriced and the food there wasn’t as tasty. I’d still recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location and it’s clean. Namba station is very easy to access. Lots of great food spots nearby. Cons: in my opinion, this hotel is not worth the price and is not 5 star quality in service or appeal. It is old, there are no ice machines, the bed is uncomfortable, and the shower sprays on the floor. Other hotels offer better value for money.

The Kyoto Century Hotel is a fantastic establishment. Staff are friendly, attentive and courteous. Rooms have king sized bed, mini fridge and the hotel provide yukata. The only snag we had was with the check-in process. Check-in is at 3pm and the hotel uses a self check-in computer kiosk (there is only 3 of them). It's a little overwhelming having only 3 kiosks and all the hotel guests trying to check-in all at once. But staff are there to help streamline the process as best as they can. Not the end of the world. You are however able to check your luggage in with the hotel before check-in time if you arrive early and your luggage will be waiting for you in your room. Hotel location is minutes walk away from the Kyoto Station and shopping district. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Kyoto Century Hotel.

nice hotel but no gym and no spa or public bath. no lobby that is nice for sitting and enjoying coffee or drinks only at its restaurant.
