Southern Great Plain Waterpark Holidays

We booked a 2 night stay and were given a room in the annexe across from main hotel. The room was over two floors, had two king beds, a full kitchen, a nice bathroom and aircon. It was incredibly clean and was very comfortable. Great location too. Right behind the Opera House. I will definitely be staying again.

I loved my time at Exe Budapest. The staff were amazing. They were super friendly, welcoming and helpful, Marina was above and beyond to get me a great room, and she had me checked in couple hours earlier than usual. She also gave me great recommendations for my request. Plus the location of the hotel can’t be any better. I had an amazing time in Budapest.

We stayed here for 3 nights to escape the heat of Budapest, the resort is beautiful and well looked after. There is very little we could fault, the only exceptions was a rude man working at the spa who made us feel like we were interrupting his peace, and the automatic 15% service charge added whenever ordering anything from the spa. We asked for an icecream which they took from a freeze in the back room and yes 15% service charge added. The food was lovely for breakfast, and the dinner was good too, though the service was a bit slow, especially when you have children with you. Would definitely come back again though!

The stay was OK, the staff tried to be helpful but they encountered small glitches (that should not be common for a 5* $250+ / night hotel). Not to mention $30/day for parking. The positive: nice area, close to good restaurants and 20-minute walking to the Danube bank, the swimming pool is nice, the rooms are decently sized, the breakfast buffet was good, the minibar is packed. The negative: expect to pay hefty bucks for everything that is not included. Parking is $30/day, breakfast is around $40-45/person, I didn't dare use the minibar but I believe it matches everything else. The jacuzzi temperature was 34C (a bit low for me) although it said 39C. Bottom line: it's a decent hotel but not in line with the prices.
