Pays-d'Enhaut Waterpark Holidays

Whenever I’am in Lausanne and there is a need for me to stay in a hotel, my first choice is always Hotel de la Paix!… Always a pleasure!!! Unfortunately the Usually peaceful ,quiet, evenings of rest were interrupted with a fracas coming from the park situated across from the Hotel at my last stay…A group of people playing loud music singing and using vulgarities (that could clearly be heard) tarnished an otherwise “brilliant” stay at the hotel…Not to mention kept me awake..I truly hope the hotel will take the necessary steps to insure in future that guests rest is not interrupted by a situation that is manageable. The property is very nice but this definitely does not have the amenities and services of a five-star hotel. First of all it is a private residence. There is no concierge, no front desk, no spa, no gym, I know other rooms beside the rooms you stay in. The rooms are very nice but are missing some basic things especially since they rank themselves that's why I start. There was no lotion, no conditioner, and that toiletries were not luxury. Just average. They included breakfast it's just a basket of bread and jam they didn't leave at the door with some yogurt and butter. The residence does not have its own parking. You have to use private parking but at least it's close to the residence. The manager of the restaurants downstairs is the part-time property manager and he is friendly and nice but he's not there when the restaurant is closed. If you need something then call the number on the reservation you will get someone who will have to ask somebody else and get back to you for anything you need. This is more like a VRBO. The steam feature and the shower is nice but does not qualify this as a spa property. Location is great and overall we have a good stay but the descriptions of the property need to be updated so that expectations are realistic.

As usual, the Capra is an amazing place to stay in SaaS Fee. This boutique hotel is out romantic gateway that we long to go back every year.

This was a great boutique hotel. It’s in the quieter area of Zermatt so you have to walk down to the main town area but that just adds to the charm! The views of the Matterhorn were amazing. The spa was lovely as well.

The hotel was great. The check in staff was very friendly. The room was amazing! We got a superior family suite. It’s 2 rooms, kids room has 2 twins and the other room has 2 twins pushed together to make a king. The king room had a large soaking tub and separate toilet area away from the shower and tub. The kids room has its own bathroom that was large. Each room had a couch and table and sitting area. Both rooms share a front door but also have their own doors-imagine connecting rooms but with a shared “lobby” in between. Very unique and very well priced!! The neighborhood was quiet and safe and a few blocks from the action. Very close to the lake and the swimming beach. Very close to the train station and there are trams and buses right nearby. We walked to old town which took about 30 min or 15 min walk to the boat taxis then took the boat taxi across the lake. Overall I highly recommend this place!! Very rare to find family style rooms where the kids can stay with us but have their own space without breaking the bank on a suite! We didn’t eat at the restaurant or bistro but the menu looked good.
