The best things about this hotel are that it is a 1-minute walk from Villach HbF; the rooms (at least mine) were clean and quiet, despite proximity to the train (and bus) station; the desk staff was friendly; and the breakfast buffet was pretty good. It's a 10-minute stroll from the old town and the most scenic part of Villach.

My room at this hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was well decorated, clean, and comfortable. The staff was fantastic and helpful. The food at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was wonderful. The location is peaceful and quiet. It's an easy trip from the hotel down to Lake Bled, and it's nice to get away from the crowds at the end of the day. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed overnight at this hotel by chance as our flight back to the UK was cancelled at the last minute. We did not arrive until just before midnight, even so the night staff was very helpful. The bedroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was good that they provided toiletries in the rooms, so we didn't have to fully unpack the case. The breakfast was good too, with plenty of choice and a lovely plate of scrambled eggs. Even better the manager gave us both a lift to the bus station in the local big town so that we could get the bus to Ljubljana.

Staff were helpful and pleasant. Food was delicious.

The hotel is in a great location, easy to walk to the lake but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. There is limited parking right at the hotel but there are a couple of other options, we only had a car for the one night and managed to get a spot right at the hotel. Room was a good size, only drawback was no elevator and we were up on the 3rd floor with large suitcases, lol, but hubby did carry them up ! We ate dinner one evening here, and had typical Slovenian food which was very good. We also had breakfast one morning, always a nice way to start the day. Nice little touch, there is a jar of candies on each floor that we took advantage of. I would stay here again and recommend.
