Very centrally located and beautiful views.

Excellent 4 night stay. Staff are polite and friendly, the hotel is clean and well maintained, the pool inviting, and the rooms were cozy with comfortable bed and couch. Very well appointed. The only thing I feel needs review is the bed duvet inner as it wasn’t big enough for the bed, and maybe an new extra blanket as the one in the cupboard had clearly seen better days. Saying that, I would definitely stay at Peppers again!

Great location, spacious room and good amenities. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Buffet breakfast offered a good selection of food. In room service menu was good and food delicious. Close to tram station and easily accessible.

Our stay at the Shangri-La Sydney was nothing short of exceptional. We were lucky enough to be there during Vivid, and the views overlooking the Harbour Bridge and Opera House from our room were simply breathtaking — easily one of the best vantage points in the city. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel genuinely cared for. A real highlight was having access to the Horizon Club Lounge on level 30. It was a peaceful retreat with panoramic views, great service, and delicious canapés and drinks each evening. The combination of luxury, location, and those unbeatable views made for a truly memorable Sydney experience. Highly recommended for a special occasion or anyone wanting to experience the city at its best.

Very centrally located. Walking distance of max 1.5 to 2 km to all major attractions of Sydney. Very well kept hotel with spacious rooms. The only downside is that the parking of your car was chargeable. But that’s I believe is with every hotel in CBD area . Lot of eateries & Convenience stores were just a 5 min walk away. Tram stations were just below the hotel.

Beautiful decor, lovely ginger flower scent throughout the entire hotel, nice buffet breakfast, polite attentive staff. However on check-in I was allocated a room in the bottom floor with a view on the 2 arcades roofs and a tiny view on the river not worth mentioning! I specifically asked and paid for River view which was $100 dearer. Upon returning to the checking counter the lady made a disappointed doubtful face. She had given this room which was the only one ready at the time (wonder why!!) when I had said we were early and not in a hurry as we were going to lunch. She found in a minute a room on the much higher floor with full river view but still being cleaned, that we didn't mind coming back later. That room was all I could ask for, beautiful views on the City and Yarra River. Such a shame we were first allocated a passable room hoping we wouldn't dare to complain.
