(897 reviews) It was near the airport and we didn’t hear any planes flying by, very quiet. We also saw the resort while on our plan taking-off. Outside the resort seemed to be a lot of restaurant but we didn’t spend enough time to walk around to enjoy them. While I was there the water park was closed. The front desk said they should be open in October and it actually looked fun, as a 39 year old I would go. Breakfast was delicious, staff was wonderful, resort was clean, they had a shuttle running continuously, I actually enjoyed my stay. Well done Splash Beach resort, well done! Close to airport, villas had access to buggies driving us around which was excellent for the elderly. At the same time, easy to walk around the resort, as well as nearby local places. Our 3 bedrooms villa and pool was clean, and well equipped. Buffet breakfast - very yummy. Unfortunately, on our third night there, the air conditioner broke down. They quickly tried to fix it for us, wasn't able to and provided us with fans. They were kind enough and upgraded us to a 4 bedroom villa for our last night. Staff were friendly and handled the situation well. Thank you. Highly recommend this resort, we will be back.
