Tents had good heating which was great as the evenings were cold. The evening entertainment was fun and great for all the family. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This riad is in a perfect location for the main sites and the room was beautifully decorated. The staff were excellent and the food was really good too.

If you are going to Marrakech this is where you should stay- a beautifully restored typical classic Moroccan home with excellent staff and Management, right in the middle of the Medina. This is not a Hilton or a Marriott, it is unique to Marrakech and so much better than the typical chain hotel!

A great place to experience Moroccan traditional living. But maybe what makes this place above all others is the staff, and specifically Housni. I hope this guy gets his own hotel one day. Great people and experience. Don’t look elsewhere.

I am so glad we chose Dar les Cigognes for our four night stay in Marakech. We loved everything about it. The riad itself is so beautiful; peaceful, restful and cool. The roof terasse is a wonderful place to relax and take coffee and meals. The rooms are very well equipped with lovely big, comfy beds. The locationis perfect, just outside the city walls, with every attraction within easy walking distance. Special mention goes to the staff:Hayst, the Manager, and Hajiba the Concierge are so warm and welcoming and genuinely enjoy making sure that your stay in Marakech is a delightful as possible. They are supremely knowledgable about all thr local attractions and will arrange cars or taxis for any and all necessary transfers or excursions. Our waiter was Abdo and he was soattentive and caring and sweet. Which brings me to the food: it really is the best we found in Marakech - honestly I would recommend esting exclusively at the riad, as the quality and setting is unsurpassed in the city. My wife and I also enjoyed a vigorous and rejuvenating hammam bath, expertly applied by Amina, who was as lovely as all the team in the riad. I have travelled very extensively over decades and can honestly say I have never enjoyed a property and hospitality so much as I have here - if you are planning a stsy in Marakech you MUST stay at Dar les Cigognes.

Breakfast on the terrace is a lovely experience. The rooms are beautiful and the staff very gracious.

The hotel is beautiful with a lovely peaceful atmosphere. This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first. The staff are excellent and the food is delicious. The spa treatments are also very good. Great to be able to pop into the Medina using the free shuttle too. Thanks for another lovely stay!

Amazing friendly staff, super clean, great location, comfortable beds, and incredibly beautiful. I will use this riad again!

Its a lovely property, just needs a little TLC. Best part was that its away from the main medina so its nice and quiet. The court yard is lovely with the nice little plunge pool. The roof top was beautiful but maybe need more shade especially when hot. Lots of lovely restaurants around the medina. Would stay here again as it was very reasonably priced. Room was nice, just a little dark. Bathroom was huge. Staff were really nice and helpful. Morning breakfast was freshly made and very good.

Such a good value little Riad! Was not too tricky to find, and staff were really helpful especially Abdullah who gave us a map and some advice on where was good to visit and eat and was very helpful throughout our stay. The room was basic but clean, had great aircon, and a little en-suite. The rooftop with the little pool was a lovely place to sit and sunbath for a few hours a day. This was also where breakfast was served and it’s lovely up there, although there was a slight bee problem when food was served but totally not the Riad’s fault as it’s outside but just something to note. Overall would recommend for sure.

Best riad Extra and food quiet expensive but place very nice

The staff were incredible, however I must deduct one star because we communicated a few days before on a pickup from the airport and they never showed up. We had to take an uber from the airport for about 140MAD. It was our first time in Marrakech so it would have been helpful to have someone from the hotel pick us up. They told us that a colleague was suddenly on vacation but then there was no reconciliation on the matter. There were limited food options despite having a menu; you’d often have to ask what’s available. They were very accommodating for not canceling our reservation for arriving one day late due to a delay in flight. But then the room wasn’t available right away. The Riad is pretty centrally located which we enjoyed. We were not planning to stay in the Riad during our stay because we’re out and about but it is small and something worth considering if you plan to relax while in Marrakech. They do have an absolutely beautiful view of the sunset in their rooftop. Overall decent stay, could have been a bit better for the value. Staff speaks French, English, Arabic. They understand Spanish but only one or two have some conversational skills, same with Italian. Food was a bit on the pricey side.
