I went to this hotel a month before my booking which was paid to say I had to return to home and would not be able to makes this reservation. The hotel receptionist was quite rude and said that although the hotel was booked out they would not refund my reservation.
I said could I speak to someone else about this and she said no . I have written to Novotel about this as I paid considerable money and the hotel could have easily filled my booking as I gave them a months notification. Other hotels I cancelled refunded.

The hotel is very traditional and is a bit unkempt, it needs a bit of TLC, but overall the position is perfect, its clean and the staff are very nice.
