Great location between train station and downtown and ferry docks to Portofino, Fruttoso, etc. We based here to explore Cinque Terre, Portofino and Santa Margherita Hotel features an excellent gym, helpful and engaged staff, clean rooms, solid WiFi and seems dog friendly. The property is well maintained and looks much younger and hipper than the 20 years it’s been around. I’d definitely would stay at LHP again. Did not try food or drinks, but breakfast was 30 euros per person.

Yes clean room just had some leaks in the bathroom

I want to make sure the receptionist that check is in and check us out gets recognized for her hospitality and assistance. I didn’t get her name but she made us feels welcomed and assisted with all our needs. Would like to thank her because she made an impression on our trip

Oasis in the heart of Portofino. Steps from the port and lovely restaurants and stylish clean well run place to stay! My especially appreciated the beautiful breakfast beautifully laid out in the dining room. Lovely staff a great us having car park and kept for the night. Will definitely return and a huge thank you to all the staff.

Great location near the train station to visit Cinque Terre. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and good breakfast buffet. We stayed before we went and stayed a few nights in Monterosso and then stayed another night before taking the train to Naples on the way to Sorrento. Very convenient and clean!

The Sant'Andrea was perfect for our stay in Santa Margherita. Our room (Miriam) was beautiful, clean and very well appointed. The staff was great and had many suggestions that helped us make the best use of our time in the area. The breakfast items we tried were all excellent and the menu had many options that we didn't try but certainly sounded tasty. In planning our trip to Italy we wanted to visit the Italian Riviera area and decided that Santa Margherita would be a good location giving us access to the places we wanted to visit by train or ferry. We'd highly recommend the Sant'Andrea.
