We ended up with the accessible suite. A very big grand entrance to your room. I love L’Occitane products. Very nice hotel. Easier and quicker to take the streetcar down king than an Uber.

The staff were very friendly and the whole hotel was very clean. I saw people cleaning the lobby and elevator area every day. Breakfast was great with a wide selection. I would definitely stay again.

Communication with the property wasn’t great but got sorted in the end - we were landing in Toronto with 2 children early so requested an early check in. They could not accommodate that so I ended up booking the apartment the day prior to our arrival to ensure we were able to check in after landing. Problem with that was the property then requested an additional $30 for ‘extra guests’ since when I made the additional nights booking I accidentally booked for 1 person instead of 4. I had tried to communicate to the property that it was an additional night on our existing booking and that we wouldn’t be checking in until earlier morning of the day we were landing, to no avail. They would not send check in instructions until that $30 was paid. Secondly there was wet laundry left in the washer which thankfully we noticed and put it in the dryer so it didn’t get musty. The towels that were hung in the closets were wet. The bottom 2 plugs on the outlets in the main bedroom stopped working on day 2. The apartment is quite dated but everything worked other than the outlets in the master bed. Aside from this the property is very close to the stadium, the aquarium and the CN tower making what we wanted to do quite easy. For that reason it was worth it.

Our stay was amazing, we were staying with our dog and were upgraded to a room with a balcony and received dog friendly amenities like a pet bowl and dog bed. We also received a complimentry welcome gift for our anniversary. Room and bathroom were clean with all required necessities for your stay, and you have a TV that can easily chromecast and allow seamless checkout. I would have provided 5 stars if not for the encounter we had prior to us leaving the hotel. We decided to step out to the well nearby before leaving to get food and on the way back to the hotel since it was hot our dog was panting. My husband decided to ask front concierge if we could get a waterbottle before heading to our car, and the girl working the front gave a puzzled look almost with some attitude and goes "water bottles? no we absolutely dont sell water bottles, do you want me to direct you to a dollarama?" This rubbed me the wrong way as normally - concierge should politely be able to check for you surely for water. Not sure if she thought we weren't staying there and just randomly walked in for a water bottle. Thankfully, the male concierge working with her was able to say "let me check for you in the kitchen" and came out with a water bottle for us. Apart from this incident, the staff were very kind to us during our stay.

Terry and I had a wonderful stay at The Hazelton Hotel this past Saturday night. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. Our room was beautiful, impeccably maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It felt like a true luxury retreat, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food—everything we ordered was delicious and well-prepared. A highlight of my stay was the facial at the spa , which was relaxing and expertly done. It added an extra layer of indulgence to an already memorable experience. We would absolutely recommend The Hazelton Hotel to anyone looking for a refined and relaxing getaway, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

The hotel was very clean. Great ambience . The location was perfect for sightseeing. And walking . The staff were very friendly and they made us feel at home. The one thing it didn’t have was a microwave . Don’t carry leftovers from all the amazing food you will eat in Toronto. Good thing with the location is there were many restaurants all nearby. So we didn’t mind going out again to eat . Also hotel has a restaurant.
