The hotel has nice views, but the bathrooms need renovation. The shower is not working properly, and the hall bathroom needs renovation. The food there isn't that good, especially the steak. They don't have an iron in the room they charge you for ironing your clothes.the pool for me needs two more stairs holding.

A few shortcomings: Much of The equipment in the gym is non-functional and the elliptical is broken and dangerous; We had a roach in our room; they do not regularly provide water —you have to ask for it; the bead only have sheets (no blankets) but there are comforters in the closets

Staff went above and beyond to help solve a problem I had. Room was clean and comfortable and hotel location was convenient, next to restaurants and grocery store.

A last minute break and it could not have been spent in a better place! The hotel and staff were excellent, as were the food and amenities.

This was my first visit to Cape Verde and I will definitely stay here again on any future visits. The entire property was very neat and clean and reasonably priced. Loved the unique decor. From the front desk to the bartender…Every single member of the staff was super friendly and helpful, even with problems I had trying to move around the country away from the hotel. They definitely went above and beyond. I absolutely recommend!
