Nice stay very clean hotel and the staff was great. I would have been 5 stars but our room was on the 1st floor above the ceiling speakers for the lobby music and dinning room that finally stoped at 4:30 am. Started again at 6:30. I’m sure someone just screwed up but it sounded like a muted party going on down stairs all night. More pillows would also be nice

Perfect for us from the moment we set foot in the door: service was accomodating (but not overly), room and common areas spacious and well cared for, food delicious and ample, location quite central. Highly recommend.

An unbelievable Gem of a hotel! Your room is literally right on the water! We enjoyed hearing the waves as we fell asleep. Free surface parking and a delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!!!!

The hotel is beautiful. We loved the history and character. The rooms were very comfortable. However, the service was uneven. We were told that we could order room service until 1am, so ordered. Waited an hour and nothing. When we called, we were told that there weren’t any kitchen staff and someone had come to our door to let us know. We had answered the door but no one was there and no message. When we mentioned this, they provided us with cocktails the next day. We ordered again on another day, but it took almost an hour and the food and coffee arrived cold. The eggs were flavorless. We asked that they provide us with the coffee pods given that our coffee was cold, but these never arrived. Given it is considered a luxury hotel, not impressed.

Big lovely room. But what made our trip so special was Mateo and Leon. It was if we had our own personal tour guides in Zagreb. They were wonderful!
