(1,001 reviews) Location is excellent - for this alone I would stay here again. Our first room had a sewerage smell but once we informed the staff we were promptly moved to another room. Room was well sized and comfortable. Some furniture and fittings were in poor condition - the edges on all the cabinets were cracking and falling off. The safety rail in the shower was broken. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Overall a good experience and I would stay here again. (595 reviews) Stayed for 2 nights to visit Christmas markets. The entrance to the hotel was clean and smart. We were too early to access our rooms, however we were able to leave our luggage to explore the city. Hotel is in a good location. Not too close to the centre so its noisy but an easy walk to the markets or if you'd rather ,the are transport options very close by. Good Irish pub on the corner, but an even better ,ridiculously cheap Asian/ Hungarian restaurant 2 mins walk away. Check in was quick and easy. We were on the top floor. Our room was clean, the shower had excellent pressure/ heat and the beds were super comfortable! Fantastic nights sleep. There was a strong smell of drains in our friends room, however this was manageable with opening windows foe a short time. Don't think there was anything the hotel could do about this as noticed the smell walking around as well. Also no milk/ sugar with tea/ coffee in room, which was a bit of a nuisance. Breakfast. If you want a good selection GO EARLY! Breakfast is 7-10am. We went down at 9am first morning and there was very little left and wasn't replenished. Following day we were down by 8.20am and there was plenty of choice. Overall a decent hotel with a good night's sleep. (67 reviews) I had an amazing solo trip staying in this gorgeous hotel which is located in the perfect location in Budapest. There are an abundance of restaurants on the hotel’s doorstep which was great for me as a solo female traveller. My hotel room was stunning and faced the Basilica and the Christmas markets. Every day a large bottle of still water and large bottle of sparkling water were replenished. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn’t avail of breakfast as at €26 and only wanting coffee and a croissant for breakfast it wasn’t worth it. Unfortunately the coffee shop downstairs was closed for my stay as it is apparently being refurbished as it doesn’t match the hotel vibe. I did however find an amazing bakery 5 minutes walk behind the hotel (Artizan) where I breakfasted and sometimes lunched during my stay. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. It was within walking distance of all the major sights in Budapest. My longest walk was 25 minutes to Buda Castle. When I return to this lovely city I will endeavour to stay at this hotel.
