The Hotel staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with various food items. The indoor pool is quite large and the view is great. I will definitely go again.

It was generally okay. My biggest two complaints was the food and the lack of warning against other hotel attendees. Thankfully, we only opted for the breakfast option - not all inclusive - the breakfast was edible but nothing exciting. Dinner was not much better. Adding onto this, you’re not allowed to get your own food, there are staff at every food option waiting to serve you. Personally I didn’t like this as I think there’s joy in picking what you like and trying different things, it generally felt awkward. My other complaint is that during our stay there were constant summer camps there, which basically meant relaxing with 13 year olds (7-15 my guess) running around. While they weren’t a massive issue, on occasions they were loud, bothered other guests and got in trouble with the staff. I even spoke to one of the camp coordinators and she said she would hate it if she booked her holiday here. It would have been nice to have been made aware of this as me and my partner came to relax and they were just a nuisance. Overall the hotel is okay, lovely pool and sun loungers, coffee bar was affordable and the shop was useful. The room was also a standard level, very average. I can’t remember how much we payed ( 2 adults, 7 days ) but I would not pay more than ish £100 a night. Thankfully there is a lovely bakery next door which we got dinner from, and is a 20 min walk to the centre of the bay where we had a fantastic meal at Nine Lives. Take this as you will, hope this helps.

The standout highlight of our stay at Grand Hyatt Lanzarote was Ainara in Guest Experience. We have stayed at many luxury hotels, but the treatment she provided was unmatched. She personally looked after all my dietary needs (vegetarian with an egg allergy), checked on us every evening at dinner, gave us incredible local travel tips, and kindly arranged a day on the Balinese beds after we had an issue with the standard pool loungers. The hotel location is fantastic, and the buffet and dining options are surprisingly great for an all-inclusive setup. However, a few areas need attention to meet true 5-star standards: 1. Pool Safety & Comfort: The pool lacks proper entry steps, which made getting in with our 4-month-old baby tricky and unsafe. The mesh pool beds also need an upgrade as they aren't comfortable for long periods. 2. Housekeeping: Room cleaning was inconsistent throughout our stay. 3. Bar Service: Cocktail preparation was hit-or-miss—some bartenders properly crafted drinks while others just mixed spirits and sodas without shaking them. Huge thanks again to Ainara for making our family holiday so memorable! Key Highlights Included: Highlighted Ainara clearly by name (hotels heavily reward employees mentioned positively by name in reviews!). Maintained a balanced tone that highlights her top-tier service while offering constructive feedback regarding safety (baby entry at pool), cleanliness, and bar standards.

Very nice hotel , wonderful location the views from our room were spectacular,well located to spend your time exploring the area , we took in the one restaurant dinner and service were excellent , the breakfast buffet was good , our last morning the buffet was busy and our service was none existent , no coffee or even a request for any the half hour we ate. This should not happen at a luxury hotel. One evening the main lobby bar Azur was in disarray ,service was very poor. The food once received was very good. We advised them and their service recovery was much appreciated. If we are ever in that part of the world again we would definitely stay here. The positives outweighed our couple of negative interactions. There front concierge was outstanding a shout out to them

Gorgeous interior and exterior floor plans. Food service is fantastic. Housekeeping is consistent and trustworthy. Pharmacies, ATM’s, cellphone repair shops, coffee shops, grocery stores and just about anything you might need for emergency are walking distance. Restaurants of different cuisines are also close by. I’ve travelled all continents, and I say this is top-notch!!
