The staff were helpful and nice. The place was clean. However, in the room I was given, whenever you change the room temperature, the air-conditioning duct would make banging/tapping sounds which keep you up at night. The bed, tightly made with extra large sheets (not an issue) had most of the sheet on one side of the bed and hardly any on the other side of the bed. I woke up one night lying on the bed itself and not the sheet and had to remake the bed so that the sheet could be tucked in properly. Having a room next to the staff lift meant you'd wake up to staff talking loudly outside your door. On the last day there was a lot of drilling and banging coming from the hallway. Overall it was a decent stay but not great. It's a decent hotel in a convenient location.

We stayed in the harbour view loft. Check-in was relatively straight forward. Apart from the view the room and amenity are very average. Probably an equivalent of a 2.5-3 star hotel. Don’t expect too much for breakfast, just toast and jam, milk and fruits. A nice weekend away though.

QT Sydney is a remodelled old department store. It is quirky, multi levelled with some lifts going to some floors & other lifts going to the others. The rooms are well appointed, our 11th storey room is a decent size with desk and chair, 2 x lounge seats, king bed, fridge, Nespresso, mini bar, cocktail maker, decent storage, safe and bathroom with twin basins, shower and a round bath. The dividing wall between the bath and bed area has a sliding wall enabling you to Watch the Tv from the bath. There is a bar and 2 restaurants on site, both close around 9-10pm which makes it a touch annoying after a days travel to not get a drink or food when you arrive at 10pm. That said, there is a limited late-night supper menu but the only drinks available are from a local retailer or the mini bar. The staff are lovely and very friendly and actually ‘make’ the place work well. In short, if you like quirky, you are in the middle of Sydney’s shopping scene, you could do a lot worse!

Room was well cleaned every day from house keeping. Service was good, quick and attentive. Only downside was the cleanliness of the lobby bathrooms but that isn’t much of a big deal just something to note. Roof top pool and spa are lovely at night! Overall, highly recommend!
