Very beautiful resort. Grounds are very peaceful. Room was fantastic- Modern, clean and very spacious. Staff was very friendly but service is a little slow.

Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome with top notch service.

Really enjoyable place to stay and within walking distance of decent shopping and dining at Port Denarau. Staff very friendly and really engage in getting people to join in their poolside activities. Room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable and handy to pools although some can be a fair bit away. Location great with poolside views to the sea and we really liked our stay at this resort and would definitely consider returning. Deli cafes good reasonably priced food and we had a lovely meal at Marava asian fusion restaurant. Went to Koro also but less impressed with that one. All in all , recommended and we can see why it's busy and popular.

The Shangri-La is a magnificent hotel!! While the facilities are excellent and there is a wide variety of activities available, it is the staff who are the best part of this place. They are friendly, helpful, attentive and so, so supportive. I have stayed here before and I will keep coming back each year as it truly is a wonderful place to stay. Quiet rustic luxury. Rooms are thatched roof bures. It is winter here in July, so it is cool (60’s) at night. No rain as it is dry season.

Our time at the Wellesley was my favourite part about our trip to Fiji. The room was gorgeous, spacious, clean with all the amenities you could need. The resort as a whole was breathtaking, with incredibly meticulous tropical landscaping and a view of the reef from the pool and restaurant that would make you shed a tear at dinner time. But all of that was shadowed by the elite level service we recieved by the staff on site. The chef, Raj, took in to consideration our vegetarian dietary requirements and stunned us with mouth watering food everyday. No meal was exactly the same - a true master of his craft. Lovely island with friendly staff and very nice beaches and views. The bathroom in the hotel room wasn’t completely clean in some places but the bed was comfortable and the overall decor was nice, and the air con worked well. There was a large range of good food on offer and there were lots of activities and excursions available to do each day. If you want a purely quiet, undisturbed, retreat-style location then you may want to go somewhere else as there is a bit of relaxed background bustle throughout the day, however the vibe on the island is still very relaxing.
