Room was spotless, great shower. Bed was really comfortable. The food from the restaurant was excellent and service was great.
4 EV chargers which allowed us to charge up before going home.
Only couple of issues, I filled in online the “pre checkin” form to save time (hotels words not mine). But when I got to reception I had to complete it again.
Iron in the room was all sticky too.

The Loans Inn is a beautiful destination.
A “resort”-style establishment within a village setting.
The Loans is offers nice - clean - well-appointed hotel rooms, plus a nice restaurant and pub. Live entertainment - courteous staff.
The local town is wonderfully social and friendly (within a mile of Royal Troon Golf Course - one of the British Open courses) and still farms very nearby.

Beautiful oasis in Glasgow. Really enjoyed the hotel restaurant and quality of food and service. Definitely would come back to this place.

Loved the style of the hotel. Stunning decor and very comfortable beds. Staff were also delightful and well informed. The pool was a really decent size - though in contrast to the rest of the hotel the pool area is very grey and uninteresting. Also no jacuzzi.
Food and drink very good and the dining room is beautiful.
We had a spa suite which was very spacious and comfortable BUT be warned - it is a very long walk from these to the main hotel. I counted walking through 8 fire doors before getting to the spa and from there I think there were another 3 or 4 before reaching the lift!
For me there were a few niggles about the room.
1. No magnifying shaving/makeup mirror in the bathroom. I have bad eyesight so couldn’t see to put makeup on
2. Weirdly there was no plug on the sideboard for plugging in the kettle. We had to plug it in on the floor! (Room designer needs a planning lesson)
3. I would have liked a bath as well as shower. I think in a suite you might expect both.
But overall a really lovely hotel and I would definitely go back
