North Central Houston Scuba Diving Holidays

I enjoyed my 1st stay at the Hotel ZaZa and I’m definitely looking forward to my next visit. The ZaZa has transformed the beloved, historic Warwick Hotel into a uniquely stylish, boutique getaway in Houston’s Museum District. It’s similar in feel to The Saint Hotel on Canal St. in NOLA. Fun and whimsical with fabulous views of the beautiful Mecom triple fountains and tree-lined Main Street. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and top notch. I was given a tour of the old Warwick Ballroom, now dubbed the Phantom Ballroom, as in Phantom of the Opera because of the fabulous, antique crystal chandeliers. It was lovely to see that the ballroom remains virtually the same, as classic and elegant, as the last time I saw it almost 40 years ago, as a bride at her wedding reception.

*Property itself and the staff were nice. *The parking is preposterous. *Parking garage we ok, but felt unsafe, guys hanging around smoking weed and the billing system charges you every time you leave the garage *Elevator lobby in the hotel smelled like marijuana. *Room: Bed had no bed skirt, felt like a Motel 6 - 1/2 roll toilet paper (no extra) - no hand soap - furniture was outdated - balcony floor was moldy *Had trouble with the elevator from the start, when we were leaving waited for 10-15 minutes for the elevator, called the front desk and was told that it would take 30 minutes or it may be longer - ended up going 23 floors down to the lobby with all the luggage (hindside should've stayed in the room and waited, but we had a plane to catch) *After walking down 23 floors and walking to the garage, the garage gate would not open to let cars out *Overall, I would not recommend staying here again, or at least I would never - staff was pleasant, but it takes Teamwork, the basics of staying at a hotel were not covered or minimum expectations were not met - I don't expect perfection, but this was definitely not a good experience for us.

I loved it!!! The only thing I didn’t like is that you were forced to do valet for $50 a night but other than that the stay was beautiful with great amenities.

The Heritage is not a bad deal considering a lot of factors, it's was a great deal for the price and I will definitely use them again.
