The Hyatt Baha Mar is a beautiful resort with incredible amenities and a fantastic location. When traveling with young children, having access to Baha Bay Water Park is definitely a major plus and added a lot of fun to our stay. We also had a great experience at Vibe BBQ—the food and overall experience were excellent. Unfortunately, the level of service did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price point of this resort. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff did not feel particularly welcoming. The check-in experience lacked warmth, and very little information was provided about the resort or its amenities. There was a noticeable sense of disengagement. Throughout our stay, we had very few interactions that felt genuinely positive. In several areas, especially around the pool, some staff members appeared burned out, irritated, and disengaged when interacting with guests and children. This was disappointing because the resort itself has so much potential to provide an exceptional experience. I loved the hotel and truly appreciated the beautiful property and amenities, but there is significant room for improvement when it comes to service and hospitality. At the rates guests are paying to stay at Baha Mar, the service level should match the quality and cost of the resort. Overall, a beautiful resort with amazing amenities, especially for families, but the guest service needs major improvement to make the experience truly exceptional.

Absolutely beautiful relaxing property. The multiple restaurants were all excellent. The pool and pool area were very well maintained. Everything about the Island House was elegant and comfortable.
