I Received a text message for pre-check in. when I went to it they offered a room upgrade for a fee. I selected the upgrade and didn't get it, I think I was charged $92 for the service. the front desk said they no longer use the text check in.
the room booked by expedia was fine.

Beautiful old historic art deco building with an amazing atrium. Rooms also very unusually decorated, not at all the usual drab and unimaginative hot rooms. Very friendly front desk!

Staffing seemed very thin. Took time to get into Internet, even with help provided. Breakfast service was vey slow.
Nice property. Nice public rooms. Adequate bedroom.

Beautiful property that’s located right by the Block Island Ferry — you can be at the beach in < 10 minutes, drink in hand! Really cute space and incredibly accessible. Good drinks and decent food as well.

This is a beautiful place to stay on Block Island. The room (while a bit tiny) was well-appointed with modern facilities and products and all comforts. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the The Atlantic restaurant is excellent.
