As a lone ,older, female traveler I must say that the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and considering that I spoke very little French. They could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious, very clean , comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast facilities were adequate and there was plenty of variety. Again the staff were very attentive and friendly. I can recommend Hotel Vatel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

The room was large and immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a chance to dine in the hotel and my meal was fabulous. Would definitely recommend!

Splendid hotel and well located in old city. The staff were exceptional. Always very friendly and helpful. The English concierge ( who spoke fluent French ) gave us some great tips on nearby restaurants and recommended a wonderful wine tour to the left and right bank which was so informative and personal. Money well spent !! I would highly recommend this hotel in such a vibrant and beautiful city. ✅✅

Rooms were lovely. Bathrooms were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious but very expensive. Staff very nice. Location a little off the beaten path so it was nice and quiet. 10+ minute walk to get to good streets and transit but overall an easy walk. Very safe.

Friendly and efficient staff.

Bonjour! What a wonderful little but delightful Maison. Lovely, friendly welcome. The staff are all very friendly and professional and the house and rooms are all fabulous and especially the spiral staircase. My room was large, spacious, clean and modern with high ceiling and view over the small pool. It’s a classic small mansion style you will see in photos, almost boutique as I’m sure all the rooms are different. I came in winter so couldn’t enjoy the pool and health facilities but I’ll bet it’s just amazing in spring and summer and so I’d love to come back with my partner too. The trams stop just outside so if you wanted to get to the centre it’s ideal but also the local area is friendly and safe too. I was here with business but would definitely return. Merch beaucoup to all.
