This hotel is not bad. However, it is on top of a supermarket , close to the town by-pass and overlooking a petrol station, so not a great vibe. It is a convenient base to explore the area. You can walk in to Pula which has a good selection of restaurants etc. The hotel breakfast was nice. The evening pizzeria also. The room was ok, but nowhere in the bathroom to hang towels. We didn't use the paddling pool as it closes early evening for the pizzeria to open. Limited free parking. Friendly and mostly helpful staff.

We enjoyed some parts of the hotel such as the pool and private beach for which towels are provided daily, the entertainment was lovely and quite entertaining, even though it was meant for kids. What really disappointed us was the food, the selection was very minimal and the quality of the food does not correspond with the 4 star hotel rating. Moreover, the 'air conditioning' which is not air-conditioning but central heating and cooling was horrid, we barely slept for the first 3 nights while it was on full blast for the whole 3 days, and then we kind of slept on the last day but we had to sleep on a single sofa bed directly under the port where the coolness comes out. We spoke with reception who were helpful and subsequently sent maintenence whom did nothing. We were not offered alternative accommodation making it quite an un-enjoyable experience. The doors are also very thin and slam hard, so we kept being woken up by doors slamming. Other than that, the room was amazing, I believe we got upgraded to room 3406 which had a crazy panoramic view and we really enjoyed that. No complaints about housekeeping, super clean and tidy work, props. Front desk were all super lovely especially the guy who checked us in, we forgot his name but he was truly lovely. Big up to the entertainment team, you made us laugh and enjoy it x Very good destination, accessible but food is simply horrible and almost no restaurants around (2 close that dont open on Mondays) -KC

Enjoyed our stay totally.

What didn’t like: The hotel insisted on charging €30 a day for an infant (7month old), €150 for the trip. While the hotel has excellent facilities for children (1 year+) it does not cater at all babies. Aside from bottle warmers in the dining areas and the common courtesy of a cot in the room & high chair, there was nothing else. None of the toilets throughout the village had baby changing facilities and of course the food options were not applicable. The premium restaurant was also inaccessible for push chairs (stairs only, no elevator). The additional cost was excessive and in bad faith with that in mind. What we did like: Our room was pristine, a decent size and the shower (which is key measure for me in a hotel) was really great. The staff, especially around the dining areas were generally excellent. Friendly and courteous to us with our minimal/bad Italian and amazing with our child. The food was great, probably as good or better than the food we had outside of the resort, especially in the Mirto(?) restaurant. The selection was large, fresh and varied from day to day, better than we initially expected from a half board.

The grounds are amazing! The beaches are amazing! It is a little rustic, but I would definitely recommend it to a family looking to actually relax.
