Great location near the train station. Free bikes. Amazing Breakfast. Lovely staff. Clean rooms. Great shopping and an easy walk to the harbor to pick up the boats to Cinque Terre.

10/10 very well run, rooms were perfect and pristine, great location, friendly staff, nice pool. These people care and it shows. A real gem! Great breakfast

We really want to be kind here as the staff was great. The view from the terrace was magical. But, an ever present sewer smell was always in the room. We didn’t complain but the oil/air freshener diffusers in the halls let us know it was a known thing. We had a 2 story double which included a very tight spiral staircase which was not easy to navigate. Upstairs double bed room area included a small 13” tv/monitor with no power cable and was not attached to the cable box. No remote was seen so we assumed it was some kind of weird storage. This room was $$$$ and outside of the portofino view was really not worth it. When visiting Portofino if you you cant swing the Splendido then probably best to stay in santa margharita ligure.
