Absolutely wonderful place with all the amenities an older adult needs! Very responsive and polite despite all our...figure it out as you go...errors. They made booking easy, tips were included in the food bill, gardens were amazing and grounds keepers were always busy!!! Would love to come again.

Excellent boutique resort with intentional service. They helped to make the experience just what I needed even reserving all the transportation and excursions. I was a guest for several days, enjoyed exceptional spa treatments, dinner, hiking the grounds, beautiful views, and complimentary events when not out exploring Costa Rica. Staff amazing! Carla goes above and beyond to communicate and help guests be welcomed. Perfect place to stay.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hideaway Hotel. The food was exceptional, and the Mandarina restaurant truly stood out—every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and delicious.
The attention from the staff was outstanding, always warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made the experience even more special. The spa was incredible—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting.
We also loved the trails near the river, which added a beautiful nature element to the stay. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding.
Overall, it’s a fantastic hotel for a romantic getaway, highly recommended

This hotel gives the feel of being inside the jungle but only 10 min drive from La Fortuna city. We saw toucans, lizards and could hear howler monkeys right outside our rooms. If you don’t have a car, uber is extremely affordable and convenient. Get the breakfast buffet add on, the food is delicious and changes daily. Fruit loops and pancakes for the kids and traditional Costa Rican food for the adults. Staff are extremely friendly and helped me book all my transport and tours through WhatsApp ahead of my stay. Rooms are very comfortable with aircon. I would recommend this for animal lovers who still want the luxuries of a modern hotel.
