What a beautiful lodge. Well maintained, great hiking trail and staffs were all helpful. The drive at night was a big scary, due to the narrow and twisty roads, along with rain and fog. Best to drive up before dark .

This resort is amazing and the staff is great. My only complaint is that the bathroom in the room has a permanently open small window. This makes the bathroom extremely humid and uncomfortable. You have to keep the bathroom door closed so that the room does not feel the same.

I had mixed reviews about this property. I loved the concept of the small unique houses with tiny private pools in the middle of the rainforest. But that’s really what I didn’t expect with teenagers. Its literally in the middle of the rainforest. There is nothing on the property for kids to do and no little shop to grab missed items. The entire place is uphill so that was a surprise, but most of CR seems to be that way. They are building several other houses. So we woke up day 1 to saws and pounding in between 3 houses being built at 7am.m. They did move our house and did comp us dinner at their very overpriced restaurant. That did make up for it. Overall, it was a nice experience but I am unsure I would book it again.
