Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Special mention to all the staff at check in who were very kind & helpful! We had 2 rooms for our family of 4 which were ready before the check in time, spotlessly clean and spacious with amazing views & lovely balconies. The breakfast choice was plentiful, with a cold buffet or a hot choice, all of excellent quality and quantity. Special mention to the housekeeping staff who kept the rooms and the entire hotel wonderfully clean & tidy, discretely & quietly but always with a cheery hello!
The location was beautiful and only a 10 minute stroll to the centre of Stresa where plenty of great restaurants can be found. Absolutely no faults, can not praise it enough & would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel! This is our second time staying in The Astoria & it won’t be the last! Thank you to the whole team!

Everything was excellent from staff to the hotel itself. Having access from garage to inside hotel would be nice. Waitstaff was amazing! Food was perfetto!

Lovely charming hotel - spotlessly clean and great staff. Lovely bar, (The HemingwayBar) great views over the Lake and an easy walk from the town centre. Fun pool with high diving board.
The breakfast was oddly limited - almost no hot food - and this could be better.
Overall it was great and we would happily return.
