(88 reviews) Picked this hotel as it was a bit quirkier than others that are more centrally based and part of chains. Room was good and spacious. AC worked like a dream and was easily controllable from within the room. Wifi was solid and worked EVERYWHERE in the hotel. Food and drinks at the rooftop restaurant were very good (although the view is not as described on the website). Breakfast was limited but was enough and did the job. All staff, including the cleaners and those working the breakfast area were very nice. Reception staff were excellent. Pool area was good. Had an issue with neighbouring guests but was handled professionally by reception staff. Hotel website says there is 'zero tolerance' and a 'one warning' approach, but this family had multiple complaints about them over the course of the week from multiple guests but were allowed to stay. Snack options (vending machine perhaps) would be good as the hotel bar was closed the whole time we were there (there is a small 24 hour shop just over the road). Pool flooring area is EXTREMELY slippery when wet and mandatory swimming caps is a silly rule they enforce. Also, a lot of guests were intent on just doing lengths in the pool, so there is limited time to just chill in the pool (although we found it to be fairly quiet in the afternoons).
