Very nice place to stay

Great location--on a quiet street, but a 15-minute walk from downtown Zakopane and a half-hour drive from Tatra National Park. The hotel is very nice, though not luxurious. Great breakfast buffet.

Great Location! The hotel is located walking distance from the train station. When you get off the train, it's a short walk straight up the hill. You will need to know this because the locals will probably not want to help you with directions. The lady that greeted us at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! She was accommodating and nice. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a day of hiking. The lady working the spa was unfriendly, but that's to be expected from many of the locals. The rooms were nice but very dated. If you go when the weather is cooler, you will be fine, but it is good to know for the warmer months, there is no air condition in the rooms. If you sleep with the window opened, there are cars and street noise. They did bring us a fan, but when the temperature rises to the 80s... you may want a room with AC. The shower was tiny. My husband took a shower in the locker room at the pool and it had plenty of room. It's a wonderful place to stay, just be aware of the AC situation. Also, The Brooklyn Brewery next door is an excellent place to eat! The food is wonderful and you get huge portions. The staff was also friendly.

Everything was good, the room clean, not very spacious, but you have everything you need.

Lovely houses, good facilities for kids and a cool restaurant. The place is equally close to the Tatras and Slovak Paradise as well.
