Dominican Republic Mountain Holidays

I can truly say that the stay at this resort was indeed phenomenal!! From the time we arrived the bell man was on the outside & greeted us pleasantly & introduced himself as he trolleyed our luggage he asked if we needed anything feel free to ask. The receptionist at the desk made sure, we received our room keys quickly. Oh my goodness the food at the restaurant was AWESOME & REALLY REASONABLE PRICE. WE EAT THERE EVERY NIGHT & in the mornings we enjoyed the FREE BREAKFAST. The breakfast chef made pancakes, omelets, & scrambled eggs to your liking. OVERALL I WILL RATE THIS HOTEL AN A+ . OF COURSE THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE, FRIENDLY & HELPFUL.

The Octopus restaurant was absolutely delicious. The fillet was cooked perfectly my husband loved the grouper. The web site did not mention anything about the DR requirement for an ETicket or that it’s free. You cannot board without it. No transportation to or from the airport was provided disappointed with this. The bathtub leaked all over the floor the sliding glass door was broken and very hard to open and close. Grounds were beautiful buffet was okay. Beach is spectacular and locals are very friendly. We noticed A few Staff on mobile phones and seemed to be hiding in corners on phones. Overall we had a great time.

I stayed at Excellence Punta Cana and was disappointed with how my request was handled. I left five days early and asked for a refund only for the five nights I did not use, not for my entire stay. After multiple attempts to contact the resort, I was told it would not approve a refund for those unused nights. I understand that reservations have policies, but I wish the resort had been more willing to consider a partial refund. This experience left me disappointed, and I would think carefully before booking here again.
