Great central location! Wonderful breakfast!

It's a very unique place (think of the Budapest Hotel movie), there are apartments on all the other floors in the courtyard but the bottom floor is the hotel. Moroccan theme with the tiles and lighting but there are no snacks in the room, and only instant coffee to make. But the staff was pleasant and helpful on transportation and eating options in the area. Not sure how breakfast worked, we apparently didn't see to pay in advance and were turned away, but went down the street and ate. You will need to UBER to attractions.

We stayed here for 3 nights to escape the heat of Budapest, the resort is beautiful and well looked after. There is very little we could fault, the only exceptions was a rude man working at the spa who made us feel like we were interrupting his peace, and the automatic 15% service charge added whenever ordering anything from the spa. We asked for an icecream which they took from a freeze in the back room and yes 15% service charge added. The food was lovely for breakfast, and the dinner was good too, though the service was a bit slow, especially when you have children with you. Would definitely come back again though!

The location is perfect for exploring Pest! Great ambiance and very attentive staff. We love everything about this hotel. Will come back again.

On the plus side the location is perfect for the trams going to and from the Athletics stadium and up to the Parliament building and the Vaci area has some amazing shops and restaurants and bars. The apartment building is easy to find and close to where the 100E bus drops off and picks up and I can't fault the staff as they were extremely helpful. I don't want to be negative but my room was a bit of a let down from the photos. I'm guessing as a solo traveller I get given the room that no one else wants. The size was okay and the bathroom was lovely and it had all the amenities and was comfortable, but the only window in the room faced indoors and was frosted out so there was no natural light into the room. This felt like I was in a cellar and had to have the lights on all the time. I could open the window but it didn't let in fresh air, it only let in cigarette smoke from everyone smoking outside which meant even with air conditioning on the room was roasting hot all the time. If I had known there was no natural light, this would have been a deal breaker for me. But it didn't ruin my stay as I didn't plan on spending time in the room as there was so much to see and explore, but would have prefered a room with natural light and fresh air.
