AVOID: Did not have hot water in the shower for several days. Spoke to the front desk four times (to Manon and Natasha); each time, they told me they were aware of the problem, that a technician had come, and that the problem was fixed. We stayed in Chamonix because my husband ran the UTMB marathon: when he finished the marathon, he had a cold shower and shivered for hours. Hot water is a basic requirement of any hotel, and the problem was not fixed until the last morning of our stay. At check-out, I asked for a partial refund due to the persistent problem; the receptionist told me to send an email. I did so: no response at all from management. Unprofessional. Furthermore, the room was outdated and unclean (hair in bathroom, bed). One of our worst hotel experiences worldwide. Chamonix is beautiful — but stay elsewhere!

Breakfast buffet was nice!

I was very pleased with my room here. It was quite comfortable and very clean. The balcony was also nice. My only complaint is that the Wifi was not good. So if you need that to work, you may want to choose somewhere else unfortunately.

Le Beau is an incredible property and lodge staffed by outstanding people and a very quality and relaxed atmosphere. The front desk opened at 7am and they drove me to the bus station at the bottom of the road. Great food at the quaint dinner restaurant and top notch breakfast choices. Rooms are spacious and beds super comfortable. I would go back for the hotel in the mountains rains and the people. For the traveler that thinks this is in Chamonix, do not be mistaken, it's not in Chamonix nor is it close to the village. If you want to be away from the town and the village, this is the place.

Rooms need an update. Very old style. But the price is right and free parking in garage. Had everything you need if you’re going to cook. I mean every thing. We had two showers and sinks to wash. One toilet for three is great but if you had 6 I don’t think that would work. We stayed on bottom floor like a dungeon and was disappointed by that but to chicken to ask to stay on floor 2, 3, 4 or 5th floor. It would have been epic for the view. Like I said we were in the dungeon without a view. So disappointing
