Kastelorizo Mountain Holidays

On first glance this hotel is really appealing to the eye and seemed to be the perfect way to start me and my girlfriend’s holiday, however not long after the problems began to show themselves. Halfway through our holiday my girlfriend and I contracted food poisoning from the ‘aqua-splash’ restaurant which had cost us €18 each and when I went to the front desk about this I was turned to customer relations however when I explained the reason I had come the only response I had was aggressive and the man just kept going round in circles so I thought it best to just tell them to keep an eye or look how they prepare the food there if nothing else. On top of this we noticed that although the booklet says our linens would be changed every 3 days this infact turned out to be false, as we had our linens once over the course of 8 nights. Also, for such a big hotel with so many rooms, having 3 lifts for the entire hotel seems to not work, as there were a NUMBER of occasions where we would be waiting for a lift for awhile (5 mins +), or when we were in a lift and we had to go on a magical mystery tour just to reach the lobby. When in the lobby, the staff weren’t very helpful at all, there seemed to be a lack of care and effort from almost every single one of them when trying to ask about the simplest of things like a bus timetable, all info seemed to have to be extracted from them and not passed over willingly. Overall just not worth the money as there are many better options around.

Oh my goodness what a beautiful place. We were in the middle of the old town of Rhodes Island in Greece and we had our own little grass yard and two lounge chairs and a hot tub and a beautiful apartment that had a wall that looked like it was attached to the castle or at least close to it. It was beautiful. Everything was done well, and the manager was very gracious to us even though we didn’t need him quite a bit when we got lost I would give this a five out of five and I plan to go back there very soon. It is a must see. 5/5

Fantastic Hotel, Fantastic Staff, Fantastic Services, Typically you cant control the people that stay there but guess what. All people staying were amazing too, the hotel attracts great minded people. 👏

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely hotel. Friendly staff, clean facility. Breakfast was satisfying with taste and variety. Its restaurant deserves an extra comment also.

Lovely clean, modern hotel. Facilities are good and right on the beach. Friendly staff and lovely big rooms. Downsides are there are dogs in the hotel. We love dogs, but do i want to spend breakfasts sharing them with dogs on seats next to me barking? Not really in a 5* hotel…. Also the location isn’t brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely and luxury but the immediate area isn’t the same. We found ourselves renting a car and travelling to Lindos or old town most days. But it was a great base. Possibly over priced for the location I think.
