Fantastic resort and great staff.

The condo was spacious and the cleaning staff actually came in 3 times over the 8 day period we were there. They did a wonderful job of keeping the condo spotless. We loved the huge patio with a partial ocean view. We would often sit out there in the late afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese. Tons of closet and dresser drawers for our clothing. It's a beautiful facility with a wonderful pool area and an excellent on site restaurant.

This was a beautiful stay in the highest peak in the Algaves. Our room was spacious and had a stunning view, staff was friendly and very accommodating! Breakfast was included , however you need to make dinner reservations if you want to eat there. I would suggest doing this before you arrive if you want to eat at a regular hour. After we checked in and settled in we made our reservation and could not get anything sooner than 9:00pm. However the wait for the food was worth it!

I loved the restored 19th-century palace with very spacious and sleek bedrooms that opened up to individual, private patios fronted by lovely gardens and singing birds. The swimming pool was fresh water, and if you got chilly in the spring weather you could jump into the steam room or sauna. Views of the countryside from the terraces were spectacular. The cuisine was very well prepared, a good fusion of traditional Portuguese food with French gastronomic cuisine finesse. I do want to return to the Palacio, and it will be for a longer vacation here!

The staff were lovely and did their best to be extremely helpful. The room was spacious and spotless and the breakfast was perfectly adequate. Tho location was just right for us and we were very happy with this hotel.
